Priapism Causing Sleep Loss?

Question:
I know this sounds like a joke, but does anyone else have sleep problems related to priapism? Priapism is a prolonged, painful erection. It wakes me up several times (3-4) throughout the night. Though many men only wish they had my problem, this is not fun. I'm only 28 years old. I've read that this can lead to other ED's. I plan on visiting a urologist but for now, what can I do?

Answers:
Priapism can be caused by spinal cord injury. It may also be a complication of sickle cell anemia or leukemia. It also may be a reflex response to nerve irritants.

Whatever the cause, I know it's miserable for you and it's no joke. I encourage you to get to a urologist as soon as possible.

Good luck.

Other Answers:
either beat it or stop beating it.
priapism is caused by a spinal injury. if you had a priapism it would not go down and you would most likely be paralyzed. it occurs most commonly in auto accidents. what you have are normal nocturnal erections.
