Anxiety
I have had heart palpitations for years and only a doctor can tell you why you are having them. I can only tell you that they are more of a nuisence than anything. The are scary also. But you need to talk to you doctor about them and have some test. Cutting back on caffeine drinks helps. Also anxiety does cause them also. There are meds that will help with them. Please get a thorough exam from a cardiologist for your peace of mind. Good Luck
you should deffinatly see a doctor if thats what your feeling on a daily basis, but it could be angina, acid reflux, which is easily treated, but one things for sure, its nothing to play around with, if your normally healthy it could be from stress,
Uncomplicated and asymptomatic palpitations are normal. The average person has more than 100 000 heart beats daily and even if you are 99% perfect you will have thousands of not perfect heart beats (palpitations) daily. If your heart rate elevates well above 100, if you have symptoms such as being lightheaded or faint, if the palpitations last for minutes not seconds then you should consult your physician. Palpitations are evaluated by wearing a 24 hour recording device.
