In the UK there is a desperate shortage of Radiologists and it's good money.
I'm writing from Brazil, so I don't know the proper term, but have you thought of medicine in the workplace? It is quite new here and a friend of mine has specialized in it. I presume that, in Europe, it's quite common, but I don't know where you're writing from.
Well there's the usual doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, etc.

Then there's a vet.

What about a librarian in a medical library (yes, there really are such places), a lecturer at a college of medicine.

Or a medical receptionist.
If in UK you could have a look at http://www.bma.org.uk/ap.nsf/content/hub.
Otherwise, just google your query with your country and you'll get the info.
I worked for the NHS for 10 years as a nurse and I enjoyed everything about it. It was rewarding and satisfying. It was also varied and I never got bored. The reason I left is because I wanted to have a change of direction. I would encourage anybody to enter the medical field. There are so many different jobs you can train for, a good chance of promotion and a good pension.

Just for example, but you probably know this anyway you can become a Doctor, nurse, radiologist, occupational therapist, paramedic, phlebotomist etc etc. The training is all very intense because it is a mixture of college and work and for many positions you will be expected to work overtime without pay ( whilst training ). In my final year of training I had two jobs so I could pay my rent and was working 90 hours a week. Check out the NHS careers site. Good luck.
