big things or giantmans always have to suffer from deadly diseases why?

Question:

Answers:
Giants suffer from diseases more than the normal person because of quite simply their size. Most forms of giantism are caused by an over production of growth hormones by the pituitary gland which causes the body structure to grow at an exponential rate. But since all our internal organs are geared by our genetic make-up to be a certain size in order to accommodate a certain size body they do not grow with the structures effected by the growth hormone, bones, musculature. So this causes most giants to have significant heart and lung problems, because they might currently be 7 foot 7 inches but their heart and lungs might only be the right size for a 5 foot 7 man. This inherent weakness also makes them more prone to other infections, and greatly shortens their life span.
