Answers:
I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant, and I found out that I could make almost any baked goods if I use Splenda as a sugar substitute, It makes great cheesecake. I use it in iced tea and kool-aid, too!

They are making all kinds of sugar free candies these days, too! I love the sugar free Reese's Peanut butter cups. I can't tell the difference. You just have to be careful about your starch intake. I think that the dietary exchange points are on the back of the bags of the sugar free candy.

Healthy Choice frozen dinners are great for when you don't have the time to cook. They taste good, and they have all of your dietary exchange points listed on the back of the box. Everything is all measured out for you already. It makes things simpler if you are as busy as I am.

If you are looking for snack foods. There are many that are sweetened with Splenda. Some items include ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, Oreo cookies, kool-aid, soft drinks. Pepsi One. You can check the Splenda website for more products and information. Try the no sugar candy, cookies, ice cream, pies and cakes really do taste good. You can substitute splenda for sugar in many recipes

Salad is the best thing I can think of. Just watch out for sugar in the dressing.

read the labels,,,no sugar candies can contain more carbs than regular candy. see endocrinologist, he will set you up with nutritionist, this too important to try and figure out yourself.

Diabetics can eat pretty much all types of foods but the key is to try to stay away from hi carb, hi fat, hi calorie foods..read your nutrition labels..also be warned taht just because a candy or food is no sugar doesnt mean that is is low carb or calorie.alot of times the no sugar ones really are just as bad as the ones w sugar.and to agree w a earlier comment splenda in a wonder! read the back of their packaging if you make cookies w it youra calories/carbs/sugars are almost cut in half!
