The three main transmission routes of HIV are sexual contact, exposure to infected body fluids or tissues and from mother to fetus or child during perinatal period. It is possible to find HIV in the saliva, tears, and urine of infected individuals, but due to the low concentration of virus in these biological liquids, the risk is negligible.
Blood , mucous membranes, and sex.
Those are the 3 main ones.

HIV virus can be transmitted by contact of open wounds or mucous membranes, eyes, etc. with infected blood. You can get HIV from a contaminated blood transfusion (very unlikely) or with an accidental exposure from an infected source.

There's mother to fetus.
And breastmilk.
Generally any body fluids, but in the other fluids there's a very low amount of HIV so people don't get it from them. They usually get it from blood, semen, or vaginal fluids.
blood contact of any kind with another person. also if you would have hiv it would not show up in your blood tests for six months after you are infected. in your body t-cells help fight off disease like a cold . hiv kills those cells leaving you with nothing to defend your body. when a person has only 100-0 t-cells in their body they have aids.some people with aids can die from the flu or a cold because they have aids which is killing what fights off viruses.

HIV can be transmitted through unprotected sexual contact, sharing of needles from infected people, blood transfusions in countries that don't screen their blood for HIV,transmission from an infected mother to her unborn child, through the birth process, through an infected mother's breast milk, if blood enters a mucus membrane for instance a blood splatter from an infected person enters another person's eyes,or an open wound, Rarely, it is passed from infected dental instruments(only one confirmed case in the United States). Be cautious and smart. There are many people that don't even know they are HIV positive. Have a great day.
