My husband has COPD. How do other families deal with this chronic illness?
Question:
Answers:
My Mom Past away from this. I took care of her. You have to stay calm for starters, this will help them relax while having a attack. Hot coffee also helps them. I use to tell my mom while having one of many attacks to try to feel the air go into her mouth or listen to the air go in. You have to stay calm and let them relax and concentrate on that air in the mouth. Don't keep talking. Also having a cooler temp. in the home will help. Night air closed up the lungs.
