Am I in Trouble?

Question:

When I was a baby I contracted debilitating diseases. The doctors cured me, but I have minor to severe chronic stomach pains. Should I tell my pediatrician about these stomachackes or just ignore them because they're probably permanent side affects of the diseases I can contracted. Thanks.

You are not in trouble. Just remember, it is your body and your business. If the doctor is worth the salt that goes in his bread, he will know your history.

I understand permanent side affects, being in a car crash when I was 4 years old. I just don't bring up the problems; the doctor will want even more money.

By all means tell them your entire medical history.
