Is it true that you can have worms in your stomach?

a friend told me that when she was young she used that bathroom ( doing #2) and a worm came out of her rectum. Can that really happen and what is the reason for such a thing? What is the age rang and time span of how long a worm can survive (if true). How would you know that you have worms also?

Okay first thing, is ask your friend all the foods she ate and how she cook them. And another thing is all the water she uses for drinking or eating. Where does that water come from. Also ask her if she spends time in a pond, lake, beach, ocean recently.

What happens is you can get worms and other parasites from coming in contact with them by spending time in ponds, lake or beach. They would come in contact with you and bite you and that's how parasite gets into your blood stream. Because parasites need a host in order to live your blood stream is perfect because it has all the nutrients that a parasite needs.

Also with foods especially raw meat or pork you can get chances of getting tape worm infection if you don't cook your meat products (pork especially) then these worms would survive and when you eat that meat you get the tape worm in you and it lives in your intestine.

I know there's one type of worm/ parasite. It's the ascarius worm and when it comes in contact with you the worm gets into your blood stream and lays eggs. Then these eggs get into your intestine and it it hatches and you literally gets lots worms in your intestine. These worms feed on nutrients from food you eat so you don't absorb alot of nutrients from foods you eat. You become malnourished, tired, and you lose weight.

It's possible to have a worm to come out of your rectum because some would try to get out. But death results when you get alot of worms blocking your intestines.

How long a worm can survive in your body depends on what type of worms they are. Every parasitic worms are different and they vary in their life span. Some can stay in your intestines or body for years.

It's hard to say how you know if you have worms. First it depends on where you live and how often you spend time in ponds, lakes, beaches.
Symptoms are hard to tell. But usually it's when you lose weight, have increased or decreased appetite, you are tired, depressed, have soreness, but then these symptoms can be related to other types of disease. if you live in tropical places or traveled to a tropical country and you came back you should consider asking the doctor to do some tests on you.

If you live in north america that shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully that helps you . Good luck . :)

Looking for long leg diabetic stockings in a heavy weight fabric for a woman with massive legs?

yes, it could actually happen. we become infested with worms when we take in their eggs. their eggs are very resistant to the acidic nature of our stomach thus surviving and are able to pass through it. when it arrives at the colon and the environment is much more favorable. they hatch and live. their mouth has modified suckers and even spines that allow them to attch themselves and suck on nutrients. your friend's problem could be anything from ascariasis or pinworms. ascariasis are notorious for relocating almost anywhere in the body while pinowrms usually stay in the anal region at night producing intense itch at night time.
