A hard swelling on my wife’s scalp (half squire inch). It is not painful.?

Question:
she is healthy, she has dandruff and hair loss for the past 5 years. the swelling is noticable now, and she is worried. we went to see doctors and all of the are saying nothing to worry.

Answers:
PLease get a second opinion, as best it could be just a simple skin condition that will go away on it's own, or with simple anti-biotics. At worse you could be looking at a malingant tumor.

Please go and see another doctor and quickly.

I don't know what kind of doctor your wife has went to - but go to a specialist. Did they say why she is losing hair for such along time?!@
if it's under the skin, it might be something like a lipoma (a benign growth of fat cells that gets annoying but is usually harmless.
Did they tell you it was a cyst? This is possible.. To treat the dandruff use neutrogena T. This is common when women stress out, as is the hair loss. The hair loss could also be genetic. My husband has cysts in his scalp. They lance them and they come right back, I am not sure why but they said he will be fine.
Soariasis. its a skin disease. you start to develope hard itcy red patches of skin on your head or any other place on the body. there is no cure and the disease is not life threatening.
