If smoking is bad for our health, then why don't they just stop making cigarettes?

well the companys need to be shut down because they really arent going to stop making money.

The companies don't really care if its bad. They are addicting, so the companies know people will buy more. It's just for money!

because people still buy them. i mean guns arent safe, yet they still make them. pretty much if they were to stop making something that isnt safe, then everything would be gone because whats safe for some people arent safe for others.

Because the big tobacco companies wouldn't make any money. Besides, it is like the Prohibition. People will still find a way to get them.

waaaaaaay to much money is being made on them for the companies to stop, the companies thank all the nicotine addicts.and lung cancer victims and underweight babies and so on . for their business.

It's big business and supports the farmers (who could grow something else, I suppose). The bigger question is why people still get hooked on cigarettes. I know they are addictive, but why do they even buy that first pack?

Money. There's a lot of money in the cigarette business.

Bacause it feels good to them and it is addictive, also people smoke the most in times when they are stress to the point. So they need something to realize them at that exact moment
