i'm trying to find out about grey's disease?

Answers:
Do you mean Graves disease? A thyroid disorder? I have had Graves disease for about 12 years and the first few years were really tough; I wanted to die! I gained a ton of weight, was bloated, lost a lot of hair, had heart palpitations, my eyes grew, I developed dry, scaly patches on my shins, I could barely stay awake, and I was so irritable! Amazing how such a small gland can wreak such havoc on a body! I went to an endocrinologist because my primary care doctor had not one clue! Well, the endo saved my life! I had to have a thyroid uptake done, plus a lot of blood work, and then eventually radioactive iodine to kill part of the gland...I had to do this twice! I have taken every does of synthroid they make, and have had weight fluctuation, too. But there is hope...it took a few years, but everything began to settle down and I started to feel normal again. Now I have to have blood work every three months, as well as a doctor visit. I hope I never go back to where I was. And just a note, if not diagnosed and treated, Graves disease can kill you. I hope this helped.
I have never heard of Grey's disease, I have however heard of GRAVES disease.. which sounds almost the same..are you sure its GREYS?... well anyway if you mean Graves disease it is a disease that affects your Thyroid !
