I 've been diagnoses with ADD and work at the hospital, they will not let me take my medicine, is that legal?

I need some help. My employer will not let me take my medication. I was recently diag. with ADD and don't know what to do. If I need meds that was prescribed by my Dr. do they have the right to refuse me my medication by law? Do I have any recorse?

OMG you work for a bunch of losers! Get a lawyer and take your meds. All will work out in the end.

no it is not legal, hire a lawyer
I am not sure, there are medications you can't take depending on what your job is. That sounds like a legal question to me.
