how long does it take a cancerous tumor to grow?
Answers:
Some tumors are slow growing, some are extremely aggresive and fast growing. It depends on their histology, origin site, hormonal sensitivity, and many unknown factors.
I had a tumor in my ear canal that probably started 7-10 years before it was finally diagnosed and treated (adenoid cystic carcinoma). This particular type is very slow-growing, but relentless. In tissues that have a normally fast cell division rate, like the lining of the intestine, tumors can grow more rapidly.

It depends if it metastasized yet
the man I knew had his grow in days
it all depends on mnay variables..type of cancer, location, what stage its in when found, treatments done, health of patient prior ..some cancers can spread very rapidly once they reach a certain stage as in days.and then theres others that could take years..its usually an individual case
