Does anybody know about Reactive Arthritis?


Question:
I've been "tentatively" diagnosed with reactive arthritis, does anybody have it and could they give me anymore details. Like is it permanent, can you have it for years before being diagnosed?

this are joint inflammation that occurs shortly after an infection of the urinary and gastrointestinal tract. it often affect large joints in the lower extremities, usually in person younger than 50yrs old Reiters syndrome may be a form of reactive arthritis.
your doctor gave u a tentative diagnosis, meaning they are still considering other diseases or could still be associated with other diseases like most of them you can have differentials...
if diagnosed, yes you can have it for year but could be asymptomatic or no manifestations

I don't have Reiter's Syndrome (Reactive Arthritis) but I do know it can go away.
