Gas-leak odor okay?

Question:
I am moving into a boarding-house where there is an apparent gas-leak that has been around for some time. Another attempted fix will occur next week. The odor is not too unpleasant but I am still worried regarding health? Should I be?

Answers:
Yes you should. Natural gas is natural, but still not meant to be inhaled. In the short term it won't do anything but over a period of time it will cause health issues.

Keep windows open if you can to keep the place ventilated.

I'd suggest this spray called Approach. It's an odor eliminator with no harsh chemicals so it won't react with the gas smell, but it WILL eliminate the gas smell by breaking it down and that should help keep you in good health.

Good luck on getting it fixed!
If you're planning on being there for a while, yes. Prolonged exposure is never a good idea, regardless of the concentration. ~Scottie
