good question, but i dont know the answer. you should be more careful about the people you sleep with.it's a nasty world out there.

If the person gave you Aids and this person knew that they had it then you could sue them. But for an STD you can't sue that is why there is counteractive you could use before engaging in to sexual activities. Hard lesson learn. Get educated on-line or talk to your doctor or someone you could trust or give you advice on it. Always use protect before having sex that's the bottom line. I too learned it the hard way. Good luck and be safe. I guess you could try. If they absolutely knew they had it, and you could prove that they knew they had it. Otherwise, they just might deny it and say they never knew.

Also, if you had consensual sex with them, then you really have no case, since you pretty much consented to it.
