why this world is still not able to find out cure for HIV. How long it takes. many are dieing?

Question: Since many years we are doing reaserch for cure of HIV. but till date no perfect medicine which can cure this desease. world research has become slow now. Aslo there is no cure for Herpes. this desease exists since many years till date no cure found for this. i dont know we human are still imperfect to find out cure.

when hiv research started it was fast bec they didnt know anything about it.but they reached a point were they were unable to find more about it and especially about cure!!

It is a virus, therefore hard to find a cure that won't attack the human cells. I think it is close to impossible.
