Does anyone else have this strange allergy?!?

Question: I was recently diagnosed with something called Cold Urticaria. Apparently its my body releasing histamine when the temperature is too low...therefore I'm allergic to the cold :(
I live in Canada and winters up here suck...so whenever it gets too cold, any exposed skin breaks out in hives and welts, and it swells....like MASSIVELY! Its quite disgusting! lol
But anyways....I was just wondering if anyone else has this and how they treat it.....I take reactine but its doesnt do much, and this will be my first full winter with this wonderful allergy!
