Does any Have or know anyone who has Neurofibromatosis (NF1) ?

Yes. I have a good friend whose husband has it. She suspects her daughter, who is almost three, has it also, she has the cafe au lait spots. He has had a couple of tumors removed since I have knows them due to discomfort. He doesn't seem to have any lingering effects, aside from the tumors, but I know that he finds it unattractive and really worried about his kids having it.

I don't have it but the elephant man is believed to have this disease and another form of disease very similar to this called Proteus syndrome. You wanted to interview somebody with the disease?

I have it. And it sucks, no one else in my family has it. And now I just found out I need surgery.
