What is the best way to ease the itch caused by poison ivy?

First, wash off the area to make sure all the plant oils are gone. Then use calamine lotion if it is mild, or cort-aid cream if it is more severe. If it is real bad you may need to get a prescription strength cortisone cream such as triamcinolone, or even an oral medication such as prednisone.

Calamine lotion, soaking in an oatmeal bath (get it from a pharmacy) and benadryl. put anti itch cream on it


Put Sarna on it its a lotion, it's in a bottle similar to a hand soap. you could find it in most drug stores like CVS or Wallgreens and its under 10 bucks i think. It really helps.


put some vinegar water in your bathwater and soak in it, it will draw it out.

use that pink stuff, you know what i mean.
or cortizone 10

take thin sheets and soak them in vinegar and some freezing water
take the sheets and cover the infected areas
then you can lay down for a few hours in the sheets with tons of blankets to retain body heat
I've tried it and it works
