HELP my brother is very sick.?
Question:
Answers:
If he is a child, look into St. Judes Childrens Hospital I think they are supposed to help.
If he is an adult, tell him to go into his state public aide (human services) office, and look into applying for a medicaid program. Since the chemo costs will be so high compared to his income, there might be some state aide he would qualify for. I know there will be some welfare haters screaming about tax dollars because I wrote this, but if anyone deserves some help it is someone fighting cancer, good grief. If he owns alot of assets they might make him liquidate those first and then re-apply. If he can't work anymore because he gets too ill he might want to look into social security disability.
Also be there to support him he might face some big decisions.
My son became very ill and I sold my home for the cash to help him, and then I moved into these subsidized apartments based on income for a while because they let me deduct the medical expenses from my income I reported.
I mean, when you are fighting for your life you do what you have to do, you know? Just keep telling him that things can be replaced later, his health comes first now.

why will his insurance not pay? that ought to be illegal!
sorry about you brother. i do . the only advice i have is have his PH level checked it needs to be alkaline not acidic
the only way that the insurance should not pay is if it is a pre-existing condition. I have fought insurance for the last 10 years for various hospitals and doctors. They have to pay....they may not pay the entire thing, but traditional insurances cover it. You can contact me if you want and i can give you some more info.

Sorry to hear about that.
I had a different insurance the 2nd time I had cancer, and I thought it wouldn't pay because of a prexisting condition, but it did. ANd it should be illegal they are not paying for your brother.
I know its pricey, but maybe your family could hire a lawyer? Not sure.
I would contact the cancer soceity and anyone else like that that could help.
good luck

I'm not telling you that he should skip his chemo, but taking transfer factors will raise his inmune system and might even kill cancer cells. This product is Transfer Factor Plus. Ask in your area or look on the internet.
