Has anyone here been treated for hyperhydrosis? What was treatment? Did it work?

Question:
I have hyperhydrosis of hands and feet.

Answers:
I don't treat it personally but my colleague, a thoracic surgeon, has a high success rate. Some docs use botox injection, others use surgery. There are pros and cons to the procedures, but surgery has a good rate of success (botox users may develop a resistance after a while). Search for thoracic surgeons that specialize in hyperhidrosis treatment. You should be able to find plenty of success stories on hyperhidrosis support websites.
