i don't think there anything that will help that the doctor doesn;t kno about. but u are being a good friend.
Don't know about the tea but my brother-in-law also has liver failuer and he is going to have a liver transplant. Is your friend a candidate for this??
Remember doctors have 10 to 15 years of study to learn their business and no amount of people here ( Everyday People ) can really help you.
Do not fall prey to alternative treatments.Do exactly as the doc says or get a second opinion from another doc.Liver cancer is serious and difficult to treat.

My Arowak Grandmother told me that the cure for Liver Cancer is the blue blood of a horseshoe crab. I heard that when I was a kid. Now scientists are researching the horseshoe crab for just that reason.

You can buy tea for your liver at Walmart..Milk Thistle Extract is the majority of the stuff.. I have Hepatitis C, my Gastroenterologist told me that all it does is mask the problem, not exactly a cure.....
