If have athletes feet and deep dry cracks on my feet. What can help? I have tried many things.?

Question:
I have bad bad feet. I get the ***** itchy blisters and when I heal those with cream, my feet crack deep. I can hardly walk some days. I have even got medicine from my Dr. It is a viscious cycle. Any ideas?

Answers:
Athlete's feet is a fungus of the Candida variety. Candida hates acidophilous (the bacteria in yogurt). Use the creams on your feet - make sure they are antifungal creams like clotrizamole (generic) or Lotrimin AF.

If you take antibiotics, it will help, but antibiotics kill the good bacteria too, and the athlete's feet will come back faster than the good bacteria. Prevention is use of anti-fungal foot powder.

So start eating non-fat plain yogurt, as well as using the antifungal creams. If you don't like the taste, put real fruit in it (apple is my favorite).

Other Answers:
You need medicine. It is a fungus.
If one does not work, seek a second opinion.

moisterize daily!! And wear socks afterwards. Try udder ointment. (i know it sounds rediculous) Farmers use it on cow's teats to heal cafted skin that cracked and dry. Its great for feet. Just don't put it between your toes. It really works! I use it because I get dry feet all the time due to my diabetes. Or if you can't find the udder ointment try Burts Bees. Try something over the counter like a lotrimin or Lamisil. These are antifungals that kill the fungus on your feet. You need to be diligent and follow the directions on the package well, so you feet can heal and so that the funguis does not return. Also a more concentrated anti-fungal is available with a prescription

Lamisil until it goes away
keep your feet dry and clean
Comfort insoles inside your shoes to cushion your feet lol bleach and Head and Shoulders. Thats some crazy shiit
