Does hypopigmentatio. (white patches) after an eczema outbreak go away?


Question:
I broke out in eczema in February. Doctor prescribed corticosteroids. The eczema is going away but now there are white patches (hypopigmentation). Do these eventually go away?

These will usually fade, but often there are some permanent changes in skin pigmentation after having eczema.

Skin changes last for some time after eczema.I f u are having Hypopigmentation the type of steroid ur using will leave hypo or hyper pigmentation.clobetasone butyrate one type of topical steroid leaves hypopigmentation. so if ur using that stop it .Tell me what ur using.
mine go away i have a terrible case of eczema and i've had it since i was a baby and i still amaze doctors with how bad it is most white patches are scars but might fade after time. keep putting lotion on it to help keep the skin moisturized and most of them will start to fade. trust me i've had it for 15 years and some i've had since i was 5 sorry to you have that though check ya later ♥
