Can atnibiatic cream kill Tetanus if the cream is applied shortly after an incident?

My wound isn't very long, but it is deep. I was cut when I reched under a shelf at my job to get a item that rolled under the shelf. I really don't want to get a Tetanus if It is not necessary.

You need to clean the wound really well, with soap and water and then peroxide. I would then put some ichthammol 10% cream on it. It is a drawing salve. If you have had a tetanus shot within the last 10 years, you should be ok, but if it is a really bad puncture wound, you might want to consider getting the shot anyway. Better safe than sorry.
