a heat rash?

Question:
Im 15 and i have this wierd rash like little little bumps on my arms, thighs and the bottom of my neck, I woke up with it, and my mom thinks its a heat rash because i was at thepool all day, but i was in the pool the whole time and it got worse? Can some one please tell me what it is so I can get rid of it! It doesnt itch on ym arms or thighs but it sorta does on my neck sometimes.

Answers:
When I get heat rash, I just put a little corn starch on it. Just put some in your hand and dust it right on the rash. This stops the itching and absorbs the sweat. It feels much better than any cream or ointment. If this works for you, than yes, you probaly have heat rash. If it does'nt work, then it must be something else. If it ends up being some thing else, the cornstarch is harmless and will not make things worse.

Other Answers:
Put some calamine lotion on it. It will help the rash. Also take a allergy pill like benadryl or chlor-trimeton.
If you were in the pool you could have a reaction to the Chlorine. My daughter had the same reaction from our pool and she found she is allergic to Chlorine. Oatmeal paste helps and Benedryl. It is over the counter.
You can get these at any health store.I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse, it sounds like an allergic reaction to the chlorine in the pool. Try some Aloe Vera gel or calendula cream. Stay out of the pool for a while
