Why does the area around my mascectomy of 5 yrs ago start to itch so much?
Question:
I told my dr one time when it was a little itchy and he told it me thats all right as long as it was just a little now it is a lot
Anybody have that??

Some times scare tissue starts to get back sensation
.Itching is usually the start of this. Unless you have a skin irritation it probably will get better in a short while..and you will have some sensation back!
Scar tissue. I had a breast reduction almost 15 years ago and mine still itch.
I think you're the only one.Maybe it's called the "5-year itch"
