fibromyalgia?
Question:
Answers:
Have they done a blood test to rule out any other possibilities? My son is 17 and was diagnosed this last year. I managed this mess at the age of 16 and my niece at the age of 12. So, it's something that only gets worse as time goes on.
Exercise, walking alot and staying mobile is the best advice. You can and should see your doctor again for something else for the pain. My son takes 2 Aleves and 4 Formula 303 natural muscle relaxants (from the chiropractor) and goes for chiropractic visits frequently along with a massage once or twice month and keeps stress at a minimum.
Sorry, try yoga and stretching of the muscles, we all do that as a family.
Other Answers:
Exercise regularly. Amazing how many studies have shown this to help. Also consider talking with a psychologist.
Please see the webpages for more details on Fibromyalgia.
A friend of ours at church has fibromyalgia. She has been taking a natural product called Reliv for a few months, and is doing a lot better. If you would me to pass on more information, you can email me at worknman73@yahoo.com
