Just found out I have chlamyda, is it possible for my husband to have gotten it 8 yrs ago and not know?

Chlamydia causes Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) and this makes women infertile. If chlamydia is untreated in a woman this will be the outcome. NO it can not lay dormant in a woman for 8 years, but it can in a man. Your sexual activity would have shown problems in you a lot sooner than 8 years if you had contracted chlamydia then.
