my husband is diabetic & we cannot not seem to get his blood sugar down, I thought it might be the skoal.

the skoal won't affect his sugar. My hubby is a type 1 diabetic and he chewed for a long time. He quit after our daughter was born mainly b/c he ended up with enflamed salivary glands and he was afraid it was cancer. Try adjusting his insulin intake, but do it slowly and be sure to check his numbers every hour or so until you get it back to normal. Then do everything you can to keep it there. It's a tough disease to deal with. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

No, it does not contain sugar. Anyway, aren't you supposed to spit the juice/tobacco out and NOT swallow it?

If his sugar is out of control, he needs to look at what he IS eating.

Doesn't sound like he's too health conscience if he chews and is diabetic.

If he continues to chew, his diabetes will be the least of his problems.
