Many times there are no symptoms at all. That said, at the time of initial infection some people experience flu like symptoms.some don't. When a person moves into the symptomatic stage there could be a specific type of pneumonia called PCP pneumonia or other chronic infections called opportunistic infections. Their are not alot of signs but . Some of the signs that it is full blown AIDs are: legions(sores) in the face and head area that don't or are slow to heal. sometimes rapid weight loss is also asign. but not always the right sign. in other words somtimes ther are no syptoms at all just be careful.both my parents passed away from a brain tumor?
For the most part HIV/AIDS is a asympotmatic disease, meaning that there are few sympotoms.However, the HIV disease will remain dormant for 6months to 10years while it is invading your bodies blood cells and immune cells. It becomes AIDS when the disease actually attacks the host cells it has invaded. The victim feels tired, and gets sick very easily and also will catch oppertunistic diseases like TB strains that normally healthy people wouldn't catch.
