Heart ablation with 3/D Mapping?

Question:
Has anyone else had a heart ablation with 3-D mapping? I was supposed to go to the hospital tomorrow for the surgery, and the hospital called and told me that they can't get it to work!! Has anyone else had a sucessful heart ablation, or do you have any info about heart ablations? I've had one before, but they're using different equipment than they did last time.

Thanks for any info.

Answers:
I had an ablation at Prairie Heart institute in Springfield, Illinois by a Dr. Kreigh Moulton back in october. They used flouroscopy. I had AV node re-entrant tachycardia, short for my heart would start beating at about 240 beats per minute and stick there.
I didn't want to get another dose of a drug called Adenocard.
The procedure was so much easier than anyone told me. They drugged me with some versed and fentanyl and I barely knew what was going on. I woke up while he was doing the "burn" and we talked for a minute and I went back to sleep.
The ablation worked. My heart don't beat like crazy anymore. I still have some palpitations, but nothing like what I was doing. It cost a small fortune, but my insurance paid most of it.
You will do fine. I did not have the 3 D mapping, but technology gets bigger every day. You are so lucky to be able to participate in technology. It just means the procedure is more precise and you are getting the best that they have to offer.
Good Luck.
