Does Accutane stays in the system?

I'm planning of taking it later this month. I forgot to ask my doctor that what if i'll be planning to have a baby for the next couple of years. Will something happen to the baby or not?
If u guys have any idea about this, feel free to jot down the details.

Honey, take it if you absolutely feel you need to. However, I was on it and stopped after 3 months because the side effects were knocking me around and making me feel awful, I wasn't seeing much improvement, and the constant monthly blood tests for liver function were draining on the bank balance. Since I was on it, there has been much controversy about what it does for the mental state. It's supposed to generate bad thoughts and suicidal tendancies, all depending on how long you take the treatment. Please try something else if you can. I would never go there again.
