not if they use protection, even though that sounds silly. though, the AIDS virus is smaller than sperm, so it can still be exchanged during sex by being able to pass through the rubber. so perhaps yes, if the partners are not careful and do not get tested for HIV/AIDS before they start having sex. but the same can be said for heterosexual partners. it just depends on the extent of precaution the people take.
Not all, if they use protection towards safe sex and safe lifestyle ie not sharing needles and such. HIV can only be transmitted through 3 ways:
a) Unsafe sex with an infected partner,
b) Transmission through blood streams,
c) Through the placenta.
Gay is only a term about sexual orientation. It has nothing to do with HIV transmissions.
Just as all straight people will not get hiv. Gay or not gay has less to do with it. It's how you have sex: if it's unsafe, you can pass it to your partner, gay or straight.
