How do I get rid of the hard skin on the bottom of my feet?

Question:

Answers:
Pumice stone, and soak them in a lotion or solution for a bit each night. Also ensure you drink your daily share of liquids - dehydration can also be a culprit.

Other Answers:
Try a pumice stone, after having showered or soaking your feet so that skin is soft. The stone will help scrub the layers of dead skin off. There are also a variety of foot creams you can purchase that'll help with rough spots on the feet.

Saok your feet in warm water, use a pumice rock on a daily basis, keep them moist with applications of lotion multiple times a day. Don't walk around bare foot, Apply mixture of 50% glycerin and 50% Rose Water after bath. Initially for few days use a pumice stone.

With some scissors, make tiny, little incisions into the hard skin. It won't hurt because it's dead skin. Then pull off with your hands the little slivers of dead skin. Then just keep on peelin'. It's very relaxing.

Then if you REALLY want to irritate your wife, leave the strips of dead skin scattered around the house, just like you probably do with your toenails.

Hey - all of the above. Also use a good moisturiser before you go to bed and put some thick socks on (to sleep in) this seals the moisture in. Wish you luck You know there are many creams and medications out there that claim to rid your feet of those nasty callus', but in fact, they may soften the tissue temporarily, I feel that the callus once obtained in such an area, will unfortunately remain.

If it's dry and cracked, you could use a corn cutter(the ones for the shearing off corns on toes). It does not hurt, and it won't cut too deep into the skin. It slices it off fairly clean, once you are done apply a good moisturizer.. a couple I have used are Aveeno and one called George's Cream. Out of the two, George's is definitely the best one.
