Need a good kidney specialist.. One third of a kidney functioning. Diabetic and tumors. Need help.?
Question:
Answers:
A patient with that amount of kidney function loss would no doubt already be under the care of a nephrologist (kidney specialist) I think this question seems a little odd since I would have to wonder without medical specialty care how on earth she A) knows she has only 1/3 of 1 kidney functioning and B) how does she know she has tumors. It is common for diabetics to be on dialysis and this person would undoubtedly be on dialysis again prescribed by a physician at some level. Are you sure you really have all the facts here?

Depends on where you are located. I had a transplant performed in SF--UCSF. World renown hospital. Medicare covered most if not all of it so $$$ should not be an issue. They are the best! In the mean time, I recommend that you see a nephrologist soon so that they can get full diagnosis.
