I just found out I have herpes, but my girlfriend cheated first, so I shouldn't have to tell her anything?

Question:

Answers:
Yes. It sounds like your relationship is in trouble anyway. I got genital herpes from my boyfriend of 4 years and he didn't tell me he had it. Now I have this virus the rest of my life. That wouldn't be fair of you to not tell her. Women can have more complications with genital herpes. Most women have to, or choose to, have a C-section delivery when they are pregnant. Babies can get the virus from their mothers and have severe complications and even death (rare). Even if you two don't spend the rest of your lives together, when she becomes pregnant someday she'll have to take extra precautions. That's not fair to her or her future baby. Please let her know.

umm yeah you need to tell her..dont blame her or anyone.its both ur fault if you cheated. you two can go to planned parenthood an get checked together.
You should definitely tell her. Damn! You are one twisted individual!
Yes, you need to tell her.so she can go and be tested. It doesn't matter who cheated first. Please tell her.
If she dosn't know yes you should, did you like it when you found out about her, two wrongs don't make a right, and were talking about someones health, this is how these things spread, because of people like you, did you ever think that might be how you got it, someone didn't inform you.
Out of courtesy, you should tell her. Sounds like your relationship is irreparable anyway.telling her won't be the straw that broke the camel's back. If she has contracted herpes from you, she may unknowingly pass it on to someone else if she is not careful. Then, because of your spite, you could exponentially infect a lot of people.
That is not right, herpes is spreadable and she has a right to know. You need to use protection when having sex. so you do no give it to some one else.
what do you mean should'nt have to. don't you want to tell her so she won't spread it to someone else? Also so she can get treatment?
yes.it doesnt matter who cheated first..you caught it so you must tell her. if you dont then if she gets it and your clears youll just be passing it on. not only that but do really fancy ruining her life through it. i think you need to sit down and talk to her not only about this but also about your relationship, obviously somethings not right if your both going out and cheating on each other.try not aruging as it gets you no where, talk about it like grown ups and gud luck.
Personally I think that u should tell..That way it wont spread to other ppl..Think about it in the long run
Of course you should tell her! It sounds hard to believe, but sometimes women don't know they have herpes, and while it doesn't do any real harm to them, it can do harm to their future unborn children if left untreated. My neighbor's son was in the hospital for the first 6 months of his life. He is healthy now and they say he is very lucky. Please tell her.
Are you psychotic? OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO TELL HER! OTHERWISE SHE WILL KEEP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX WHILE SHE IS CHEATING ON YOU, AND KEEP SPREADING THIS NASTINESS. THE NEXT THING TO HAPPEN IS THAT YOU BOTH WILL HAVE HIV. STOP THE MADNESS NOW!!
I dont know why you wouldnt tell her. Sure she may have cheated but you also mention " first" just because she cheated deifinitly doesnt mean you should have gone out and done the same. Secondly Do not be a biggot and not tell her. Okay so she sucks at being with one person and so do you. But why ruin both of your lives just because you want vengence, sit her down and tell her, then the both of you should go for a full checkup and testing for STDs . I dated someone once who had something Like Herpes luckily it wasnt and they hadnt told me about it and gave it to me. I am safe now, had medication, and have normal relationship I do however discuss such things with anyone i want to pursue a relationship with. Seriously man do not be a ******** just to get back at her. Also goodluck with that. Use a rubber always do not spread the illness.
