What reactions you have received after telling someone you had Herpes 2?
Question:
I told a couple of guys that I had Herpes that were interested in me (but I was not interested in them) just to test the waters and they were like "it's ok are you taking the medicine"..."we can use a condom" and "I still want to have oral sex with you ..I can use Sarran wrap".
I have been so scared of being intimate with someone for fear of spreading the virus that I have not been sexually active in over 2 years. I have met really nice men and when the relationship turns serious I usually push them away because I fear rejection if I tell them.
The guy that I am dating now is speaking of marriage and having children and I am so scared that if I tell him that I may loose him.
Answers:
If they guy is talking marriage, a little cold sore now and again won't matter.
You can't really get type-2 on your lips. It's really rare anyway.
People have a better chance of getting HSV from someone else because 90% of people don't even know they have it. At least you know about it and can do your best to prevent spreading it.
It's not like your giving someone a death sentence.it's no biggie once a person has been educated.
just tell him if he really loves you then he won't care.
you'll lose him If you dont tell him and he contracts it
he can sue you for with holding important medical STD info and passing it on to him
I think you should go ahead and tell him, I mean if you're really serious about him. It sounds like he's serious about you. Hey, this is not a death sentence--it's just a pain in the *** (literally!) now and then. Everybody has a past. I think he'll understand and if he really loves you, it won't matter. Good luck!
