Does anybody know a cure for vertigo?

Question:
I have suffered from vertigo for the past three years. No medication seems to work. Dr has no idea what the cause is.Is there anybody out there with the same problem.

Answers:
I am truly sorry to hear this but even more sorry that there is NO cure for it. I have had extreme vertigo for over 5 years. And like you the meds. don't work and the Dr cant fix it. So i know what you feel like as i have to deal with it ever day of my life. My dizziness gets so bad that i cant even sit up i have to lay down and it will last for about 45 min. Then i am sick for about 3 hours after its over. For people like me and you we just have to deal with it the best way we can. What i do to deal with it is really weird but it helps me a lot. If you would send me an e-mail or PM me i will tell you about the mental problems it has caused me

Have you had a blood test to test all functions and levels - like thyroid, hormone levels, red blood count. Usually theres another cause. I had it and looking for the cause I found that I had low thyroid AND a bone disease that was encroaching upon my inner ear - but my cause was actually the low tyroid (hypothyroid). I start my medicine next week! Can't wait!
My partner went on the "Birmingham Wheel" to help overcome this problem. It's like the London Eye only smaller and in Birmingham. You could try something like that. Often a fear can only be overcome by confronting it.
Go to the link below. I had some issues after an accident and the excercises worked for me.

You probably should see a Ear Nose Throat physician. Many times the cause of vertigo is in your inner ear.
Maybe your vertigo is caused by an inner ear infection. If you've tried medications without relief, this could be the cause. You're not getting relief because the inner ear infection still exists. Many times there are no symptoms except the vertigo and the infection is not always detected with an otoscope. Ask your doctor about this. Maybe he could refer you to an ear, nose & throat specialist. It would be better than living with the vertigo forever. Hope this helps.
Live under ground.
