if it is a small lump then it might be a sty. i think it might go away in a couple days but i'm really not sure. it's been SO long since i've had one.
if someone hasnt punched you or maced you then I would say eye infection. dirty makeup or dirty hands touching the eye will do it everytime.

Maybe a sty. I think it is bacteria in your eye. You can apply warm , moist compresses, but it may take awhile to go away. I think they sell stuff in the store, but i don't know if it works
sounds like you have what they call a sty, not sure of the exact casue of it, but they normally don't get too big, at least where it's real noticeable, the only way to get rid of the one you got though is a trip to the doctor. You could also have a blocked tear duct.

Stye
A stye is an infection in the tiny oil glands along the edge of the eyelid that surround the base of an eyelash. It begins as a red, tender bump, and looks like a small pimple as it develops.
A stye usually comes to a head (clear or yellow fluid collects in the stye) in about 3 days, after which it breaks open and drains and heals in about a week. Though the cause of a stye is often unknown, it can develop from rubbing the eyes or using products near the eyelid that can irritate the eye, both of which can transfer bacteria to the skin and cause infection.

It could be a "sty" or maybe an ingrowing eyelash? It depends where it is but because it sounds very nasty I would strongly suggest seeing your doctor just to put your mind at rest. Good luck.
My mom got bit on her eyelid once during the night by a spider or something and she got a black swollen eye. You really should see a doctor though because it might be something serious.
It sounds like you have a stie wash your eye out and then put a little neosporin in it. Do this for a few days if not better see your doctor. Also could be Pink eye and if it is you need medicine from doctor. Good luck

Probably a stye or you could have an eye infection. The sun can also cause problems with your eyes if you have been out in it etc a lot. The best thing is to see your doctor your eyes are precious and you only get one set.
if it's a sty (like a boil= it is a lump because it is filled with puss), you can put hot washcloth on it until it comes to head (white spot appears and then the puss will come out.
if its pink eye (red/pink eye that won't stop itching and watering), you should go to a doctor. they can give you an eye drop medicine for it.
other than that, you may have to go to a doctor to find out what it is.
why do people ask med questions like this on this site you need to see a doctor asonly they will know what it is by looking at it and doing tests
it sounds like a sty, u sound put a cold tea-bag on it or a hot spoon. should help reduce the swelling and hopefully disappear

sounds like a sty. ive had a few of them. there is an old wives tale that says to rub gold on stys and they go away. ive always done this and its worked for me. i just rubbed a gold ring on it a few times a day and it went. honest, i am not joking! it really works.
