My toenail is a yellowish color. It seems as if in a certain spot that it is not connected to the bed.?

It is a bit thicker than a normal nail. I just cut it down as far as I could. What do you think it is..a fungus? I have med for it but it just doesn't seem to have helped. Any tricks on how to get rid of a nasty fungus. I want my nail to look pretty again. It is the big toe nail. HELP!!

It is hard and time-consuming to get rid of.

The prescription drug Lamisl is helpful.

Keep your foot clean, use antibacterial soap, let your foot breathe as much as possible.

And above all soak the entire toe twice a day in a hydrogen peroxide (over the counter drugstore brands are fine) as well as twice a day in a 50/50 solution of Alcohol and Vinegar.
