well, there can be many symptoms in which the doctor will try and treat seperately...but.a small list of ailments associated with liver disease are:

depression and/or "brain fog"
lethargy
achey joints/bones
any type of skin rash (whether or not they itch)
hair loss
confusion/short term memory
upper right quandrant pain (a very mild pain to severe)
gallbladder disease
diabetes
lung disease
weight loss or gain
thyroid disease
your spleen can have intense sharp pains
panic attacks (due to change in how the brains system relates to either toxins and/or viral infections like hepatitis c)

not all of those with a chronic disease of the liver have jaundice, infact, a person with hepatitis c-unless an acute infection or end stage liver disease will not have jaundice (yellowing of the skin caused by billibrium buildup)

there are many other diseases that are caused by liver disease.

if you have one diseased organ it can cause other organs to become diseased as well-they are call bi-directional diseases.

if you have had a liver panel and your test comes back all within normal ranges, you can still be sick!

alt and ast levels are a lot of times not increased-this is more common in those with hepatitis c. alt and ast levels are not a reliable source, only getting an actual hepatitis c antibody test is.

Yellow skin, also known as jaundice. It means your liver is dying.

The earliest symptom That I had was liver spots or spider veins, I had them starting to appear a yr or so before I knew I had liver disease, Before the jaundice., Your abdomen starts to retain water because your liver can't dispose of the excess, so you start looking like a over extended pot belly. By the time the jaundice comes around your pretty far gone. Before that the liver is the only organ that can regenerate and can reverse some of the effects, Maybe to the point of no transplant.
If you see these symptoms get a blood check up have them run a liver panel. Early enough no transplant. I wasn't.
