Why is 6.5 month baby having nosal blockage in morning from 5-6 hrs but clears when weather warms up?

Question: Every morning between 5 & 6 hours our 6.5 month baby suffers from nostril blockage and has to breathe through her mouth,making it difficult for her to bottle- feed. When vaseline is applied on her nose ,thick mucus loosens up & unblocks the nostrils.When the weather warms up during the day, this problem disappears. What is the cause of this problem? And what is the remedy?

There are things that are beyond scientifical explanation. If you consult 10 doctors about this, you will probably get 10 different answers. As an homeopath I would answer that this is a symptom, not of an underlying disease, but something that individualizes your baby. It´s nothing serious, just a bit annoying and it will eventually pass. If vaseline works, keep on with it, but I strongly recommend not to give him medicine. Just plain patience and súpport.
