My wedding rings give me a rash with little bumps that open up like blisters?

Question:
I wore my rings for 6 months with no problems. Now after my skin heals, I put them back on and get the same rash and open sores. I have put them on my right finger and the same thing happens. I have had the rings cleaned several times. Help!!! I want to be able to wear my rings! They are 18 ct. white gold.

Answers:
Gold rings are not pure gold or they would be too soft. They contain nickel, and you have probably developed an alergy to that. Some people had the same problem with gold ear rings.

You might be able to get the rings lined with something to prevent direct contact with the skin. That might help.
Sounds like you got an alergy.

I don't know what to suggest apart from don't wear ur rings. Perhaps put them on a chain?

Or ask your husband to buy u a new one.
You are either allergic to white gold...or your rings aren't really gold
