what is a natural food that may help alleviate the pain of endometriosis?

Answers:
While there is no prevention, nor any absolute cure for Endometriosis, you are wise to seek alternative therapies like diet and nutrition to help somewhat alleviate or temporarily relieve your symptoms. Nutrition is one approach many have used successfully in order to obtain some relief, and can be very helpful to you in your overall health.

The nutritional approach is very detailed and individualized, and henceforth is too involved to get into here; however, here are some links that you can peruse and learn more:

More importantly, you also *absolutely must* get a copy of the bestselling book on this topic, "Endometriosis: Healing Through Nutrition" by Dian Shepperson Mills & Michael Vernon. Check your library or get a used copy for cheap over at Amazon. You won't be sorry, it's worth it's weight in gold! Good luck to you.

WOW I don't even know what "endometriosis" is!

I guess its time for dictionary.com
I went off all drug therapies about 6 months ago. This is what I've done to help my endo:
-eat more vegetables
-less meat (and primarily organic meat since it doesn't have added hormones to it)
-more fruit
-less to no pop and alcohol (I find that upsets my endo a lot)

In addition to Endo: a Key to Healing through nutrition, I'd recommend Endo: A Holistic Healing Guide.

I wish you the best.

If you're interested I just put up a new endo website to help the Support Group I'm in associated with the Endo Assoc. It's www.endosupport.com and you can find lots of research of how to naturally help endo there.
