Does anybody know if massage therapy can cure tendinitis of the shoulder?

Question:
Have had it for months now and anti-inflammatories like Advil and Alleve have not worked, nor has a prescription anti-inflammatory had any appreciable affect. Am I at the end of my rope...or is there another option?

Answers:
I suggest you try a combination of your antiinflammatories and massage therapy. Massage can work wonders for short-term relief of pain and stiffness. It won't, however, "cure" tendinitis.
I agree with Tweety but I recommend you ice the area to reduce inflammation.
Additionally, a physical therapist or chiropractor can do ultrasound or electotherapy to treat the inflammation and pain.
