was anyone had a spider bite like this?

Question:

I have a spider bite on my upper thigh (on both sides) that is red around them. I admit that I picked at them, but I was bitten around a week and a half ago, and it is red and has small purple marks above it. Im not sure how to put a picture on here, or I would. Any suggestions would greatly help! Thanks.

You should get it checked out by a local doctor. They will know what to do.

I had a spider bite recently...1st, STOP PICKING AT IT!!!!!!! Now, you might need to see a doctor...purple streaks could mean that the picking had caused blood poisioning. Also, it may have been a brown recluse who bit you...if that is the case, the skin can actually rot of in chunks...You need to get a professional opinion!!! If you can not afford to go to the doctor, you need to get to a health department. Good luck, from someone who has been there!

Go to your family doctor and get it checked. It is probably infected at this point. While most spider bits are not serious, there are a few that are really cause for concern, i.e., the brown spider bit is very serious and needs medical intervention. Don't wait long. Go and get it checked.

This type of bite could be from a Brown Recluse spider.The bite from these critters cause redness then a purple discoloration.The next process is the area underneath will start to become necrotic(rotting) until it leaves a hole in the skin.At this point it is hard to cure sufficiently.Go to your doctor or emergency department to make sure.If nothing else they will probably give you anti-biotics to help cure it.

Go to the doctors, you may need an antibiotic. This could be a very serious condition. I was bit by a brown recluce spider, and thank god I went to the doctor, the poison was in my blood stream. I don't mean to scare you, you will be fine, just have the professionals look at it, better to be safe then sorry. One more thing, alot of mosquito bites have been looking like spider bites also, this year has been terrible. I also pick at them and make them more red and swollen. Who knows maybe it is just a mosquito bite. A spider bite you will notice that your skin is kind of burning away, like something is eating at the site. Good Luck.
