overactive thyroid wondering?
Question:
anyone else got any info on it?
Answers:
don't worry about taking pills if it will fix your problems.
i take 22 every day and i don't regret it because it gives me a "normal" life.
my mum has just been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid and the specialist told her it may correct itself in 18months or so.
so your condition may not be a permanent one.
good luck. if you need lots of info maybe you can google it x

are you on levothyroxine to regulate it, my husband is and it works . his overactive thyroid was caused by the medicine he was taking for his fibrillation
I thought levothyroxine was for UNDERactive thyroid. I have HYPOthyroidism, and I'm on levothyroxine for that. Can't you just go see an endocrinologist? They should have one in your area. Check with your PCP for a referral!
my bf had the a overactive thyroid and had part taken out it fine now he couldn't stand still or sit down for long and lost loads of weight he as a scar under his neck and his mum had all of them taken out as she had same and on medication for rest of her life she has to have tests every year to make sure its working OK don't worry lots of people have this and live a normal life
